I attended the 2009 Holy Family Institute triduum, and Fr. Jeff mentioned blogs in one of his talks.  I guess I'll give it a try.  I see a lot of familiar faces here on St. Paul's tube. 

Thank you to all those wonderful Holy Family Institute members with whom I was able to chat this past weekend!  I had a very nice time.  My son, Samuel, did very well.  He was a bit clingy the last day of the retreat, but overall it was a low stress weekend for me.

Today's Gospel reading makes me think about the task of finding new Holy Family Institute members.  We need to be courageous when approaching possible members.  Also, we need to keep at it!  Ask the Holy Spirit to inspire you with new ways to promote the Holy Family Institute. 

It has been such a blessing being part of the Pauline Family.  When I was about to make perpetual profession, I was thinking to myself, "Why am I doing this?"  However later in the Mass, after my nerves calmed, I thought about how glad I was that I made the jump.  I really want the special blessings and sanctification for my family.  They are my whole life and I want them in Heaven so very much.
